Design process:
1- Please contact me via phone or email with any questions regarding my services:

You can also fill out the "contact form" on this website and I will respond.
2- We chat and set up an initial meeting
3- Meet on site and discuss your project, goals, dreams, and site.
Based on the size of your site and the detail involved I can give you a design time range for your budget at this meeting.
4- Your site is measured (getting needed dimensions and grades)
5- Design on CAD (computer). The design includes a full plant list and codes on the plan as well as a notes section.
6- You are emailed a pdf file of the design for review. At this stage I am looking for feedback, so I can make revisions towards
finalizing your plan. If at this stage you would prefer to review the plan on paper instead of on a screen let me know
and I will make a print. We can discuss questions/ changes via phone, email or we can also meet in person
to go over the plan.
7- Once we have finalized the plan I get prints made (usually 4 copies). You can give the prints out for bidding purposes, and
save one for your files.

Who can install my landscape?
I have a list of recommended contractors that I am happy to share. Some of my clients are DIYers, some put the plans out to bid.
What if I just need to be pointed in the right direction?
I am happy to do consultations, or do a full master design for your landscape. It all depends on your needs, I am flexible.
What can you tell me about the initial consultation?
The initial meeting is usually about an hour. At this first meeting, if you have images that inspire you please share those with me. If there is a plant you cannot live without, tell me. If you are allergic to something that is commonly in the landscape please tell me. And if you have a houzz portfolio you want to show me please share it with me. The initial consultation is a "working" meeting for me. I gather information that then goes directly into your design, and I do bill hourly for the meeting.
What do you bill for?
I bill for meetings, measure time, design time. I bill hourly (in 15 minute increments). Your first invoice arrives when I email the pdf file of the drawing, from there on I bill monthly as needed. I do design work outside of the Denver Metro area, if my drive is more than 30 minutes I bill hourly for extra drive time.
